In partnership with SDSS (Stratford District Secondary School), I’ll be guiding their senior students through preparation & service to bring you a delicious 4 course Vietnamese/Southeast Asian inspired meal. Based in KW, his Wooden Boat Food Company was a bastion of inventive, local ingredient based cuisine. His Nuoc Cham sauce can be found in fine food and grocery stores coast to coast. Thompson will be joining the students of SDSS for two days in November to share his skills and experience, culminating a beautiful seasonal menu heavily influenced by his Vietnamese orgin, but also nodding to other Asian cuisines.
